Best Stance/Skill/Shout to cover Heal Sig?
Watch Yourself is obvious for some cover. Dol Sig is great but limits movement. All of the other stances have a long recharge. What I was thinking was Riposte......It can almost be spammed when under heavy attack. Will this give enough cover during the 2 sec cast time for Heal Sig if you spam it? Has anyone tried this?
thx

I'm going to assume that you only want Warrior skills.
Shield Stance + Doylak Signet. Then Healing Signet, then On Your Knees.
Blocking 75%, Cannot be Knocked Down, added defense, heal, and then kd all enemies around you. That and all stances are recharged.
Hope this helps.

Riposte will only block one melee attack, then it ends.

heh, great thread
And, something I was just thinking of asking here as well ever since the community here convinced me to switch from Healing to Tactics and the healing sig.
With a little timing with of the Dolyaks...the warrior is lookin fine.

Sounds good Pick Me, but that requires 5 slots, shield stance, dol sig, heal sig, KD skill, and On your knees. I think ill just wait a week for Lion's Might!

Ah yes, but if that skill is Disrupting Chop, Riposte FTW.
To the OP. I cover it with either Glads or Shield Stance. I hit Healing Sig, then hit Riposte, then Deadly Riposte. You're covered by 75% block, then if anything does get through, it gets a Riposte/Deadly Riposte. I farm just about everything with this setup or something very similar:
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Galrath/Sever
Silverwing
Glads
Shield Stance
Healsig
Dolyak/Sprint/Cap Sig/...
14 Str
13/14 Sword
13/14 Tactics
Sentinels Armor
Various Shields + Swords
S1: In stance sword of Def + Grognar's Defender
S2: In stance sword of Warding + Sunreach's Shield or Shield with +XX vs XX
S3: While Hexed sword of Fortitude + Baubo's Shell
S4: Flatbow

I think I have to agree with HLS shield stance is the best stance to cover heal sig since it is also tactics. It has a long recharge, but meh what are you gonna do. I was looking for a good cover for PVE/PVP. What do ppl think is the best cover for the least attribute points using another profession?

Well...if you really set up my build and try it, you are actually in a 75% evasion Stance for 41 seconds if you go Glads > Shield > Glads. But then you're looking at 15s until Shield is ready, and 19s until Glads is ready. You MUST go Glads > Shield > Glads to get the 41s. If you can hang out with your Riposte's and Heal Sig until Glads comes back up, you're golden. There won't be much left alive by then, so it's usually not to hard to make it.

Cover skill for Healing Signet? Step back out of the front line and cast Healing Signet with better positioning. If you cannot because you are maintaining aggro, don't bother casting Healing Signet and let the monks heal you. Then again, Watch Yourself is all the self-protection I need for PvE. For farming, Dolyak Signet and Bonetti's Defense is good.

A blocking/evasition stance > armor when using Healing Signet, because (1) it prevents damage instead of mitigating it and (2) it helps prevent interrupting of the Signet.
My favorites are:
Gladiator's Defense - I don't like using this valuable stance on covering something as simple as Healing Signet, but it's by far the best stance out there.
Disciplined Stance - very short duration, but provides +24 armor AND a 75% chance to evade, and won't be canceled by the signet.
A less desireable one is Shield Stance, as you can't cancel it, which basically cripples you for its duration.
Do NOT use any of the following, as they get canceled by using Healing Signet: Bonetti's Defense, Defensive Stance, Wary Stance.

On Your Knees is the KD skill. So its 4 skills (as I noted in my initial post).
As for your other request...
Paficism - 0 points = 8 seconds of non-attacking
Shield of Deflection - 0 points = 6 seconds of 50% blocking + 15 armor (elite)
Whirling Defense - 0 points = 8 seconds of 75% blocking
Dryder's Defense - 0 points = 5 seconds of 75% evading
Magnetic Aura - 0 points = 5 seconds of 75% blocking
Ward Against Melee - 0 points = 8 seconds of 50% evading melee
Armor of Frost - 0 points = +40 armor vs physical, -24 vs fire for 8 seconds
Blur Vision - 0 points = 8 seconds of enemy (and adjacent to target) to miss 50%
Mist Form - 0 points = 8 seconds of immune to attacks (not spells); elite
Distortion - 0 points = 5 seconds of 75% to evade (more points just lessens the amount of energy you lose)
Illusion of Weakness - 0 points = gain 50 health if your health drops below 25% of max
Physical Resistance - 0 points = 30 seconds of +40 vs physical damage; -24 armor vs elemental damage; stance
Weapon of Shadow - 0 points = 4 seconds, when you are attacked, attacker becomes blind for 3 seconds
As you put more points in these skills, the duration of them will increase.
Hope this helps.

Bonetti's can be used to cover heal sig. yes it will be canceled when you use heal sig, but who cares? I thought this was to cover it. and it is a "spammable" stance, the recharge is far less than the other's.
I wouldn't take glads, I think its a waste of an elite

Sorry but you are wrong.
On your knees: "On Your Knees!"
Lose all adrenaline. If any adjacent foes are knocked down, all of your Stances are recharged.
You do need to knock down then use on your knees. I am familar with the examples, but don't really like any of them for warrior. Maybe magnetic aura, but it has a 60sec recharge. The rest are either elite or cost 10e. Way to much for a warrior. With Disiplined stance, pointed out by Jetdoc, you get enough time for 2 heals. I think I will go for that.

Erm... any warrior who needs to use Dolyak Signet to 'cover' Healing Signet for anything bar solo farming needs to 'L2P' sadly.
If anything i'd of said Watch Yourself+Auspicious Parry is the best way to cover it. That bit extra armour and most probably some adren to charge a few skills. If your under heavy attack you wouldn't be using healing signet and if your paying attention its quite easy to activate it to stop a ranger interrupt.

All On Your Knees! does is lose all your adrenaline and renew your stances if there is *already* a knocked down opponent. Maybe you're getting confused with None Shall Pass!.

Sorry, my bad. I think my eyes are starting to fail me. You are right, if they are already knocked down. Man, I think my eyes just showed me "Lose all adrenaline. adjacent foes are knocked down, all of your Stances are recharged."
Somehow I missed the words "If any" right before adjacent foes...
Better get my eyes checked soon.

I'm more a fan of the Dolyak + Bonetti's combo [soloing only] but substitute Watch Yourself for Dolyak in a party. [cast WY first of course]
However, as to the 'long recharge' of Bonetti's, if you need to cast Heal sig 2x in a row, then uh, you're screwed either way so there
Shield Bash, btw, is the ultimate 'HAH NO INTERRUPT' for heal sig where only one foe tries to stuff it.
Lots of fun vs. the distracting blow people...
